    Promoting Positive Economic Growth in our Community

    While researching a project in business school, David Illes made a life-changing discovery: property management companies were either giant corporations focusing on large clients or small shops focusing on individual properties. The needs of midsized property owners were being largely ignored. The entrepreneurial side of Dave took over and Longford Management was soon founded. As president, David brings this entrepreneurial vision, along with consulting and business experience to the task of running Longford, growing the business to the 70 plus properties in Longford’s current portfolio.

    Driven by his passion for business, Dave earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance at George Washington University. After graduating, he spent several successful years managing client investment portfolios with Morgan Stanley and then served as a strategy consultant for Deloitte and Accenture before returning to GW to earn an MBA. With his natural talent for purchasing, developing, and adding value to real estate in D.C., Dave created Total Income Property Solutions (TIPS) to help other owners maximize the value for their properties. Based on Dave’s philosophy that happy tenants are the best investment, it didn’t take long for the business to grow by leaps and bounds. As TIPS attracted more clients, Dave decided to rename his company Longford Management as a tribute to his grandfather, Joseph Kelly, who immigrated from County Longford, Ireland and worked his way up from basic maintenance to manager of luxury high-rise buildings in Manhattan.

    Dave lives in the Annapolis, MD with his wife, Beth, and their two boys, Declan and Jacob.

    Making our Back office the Best in the Business

    Beth Illes is Longford’s Chief Financial Officer and oversees all financial reporting, budgeting, rent collection and payables for our partners and clients.  Beth has held this position for the past six years after a very successful career with Ernst & Young.  With her vast experience in both accounting and property management, our clients rely on Beth to help with complex decision making and to achieve optimal efficiencies and profits.

    Beth grew up in the picturesque Finger Lakes region of upstate New York and later moved to Washington DC to attend the George Washington University where she graduated with a degree in Business Economics.  She also holds a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Virginia and is a Certified Public Accountant.    She lives with her family in Annapolis, MD where she enjoys entertaining friends and family with her cooking and love of wine that she brought with her from the Finger Lakes.

    Proving that Kindness Matters

    Lisa is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of industry experience including property management, leasingand as a licensed Realtor.  She loves working with clients to help them find their next dream home.  Nothing gives her greater pleasure than putting a new set of keys into someone’s hands.  The definition of a people person, Lisa prides herself on great customer service and her personal mantra is “a smile goes a long way.” 

    In her free time, you can find her at her sewing machine, enjoying her granddaughter, with a book, or filling up on seafood. Lisa holds a B.A. in Psychology from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, which has been renamed the University of Notre Dame of Maryland. She currently lives with her husband and loads of houseplants.

    Solving complex issues with integrity and expertise

    Rigo started with Longford as a part-time painter and quickly worked his way into a central and essential piece of the Longford team. As our senior technician, Rigo works daily to ensure that the properties we have been entrusted with are cared for and maintained. From demo days to complex plumbing and electrical issues, Rigo approaches his work with a deep sense if commitment and professionalism. We never feel more confident in our work than when Rigo is on the job. Through years of training, he has compiled a wide variety of technical skills, allowing him to address even the most difficult of problems.

    When he’s not on the job, Rigo is enjoying time with his family at their home in Beltsville. He has a beautiful wife and two young daughters whom he loves to spoil.

  5. Lisa Morgan

    As the Assistant Property Manager, Lisa oversees the leasing and tenant relations of the Longford Management residential portfolio. Lisa began her career in Real Estate in 2016.  She has vast experience in 3rd party management, as well as leasing a diverse range of residential assets.  Originally from Seattle, WA, Lisa moved to Oregon for college and received her BS in Psychology from Oregon State University.  Having recently moved to the Washington, DC area in 2020, in her spare time she enjoys exploring the DMV.

    Strengthening our community and corporate values

    As a Longford’s Property Management Accountant, Mimi oversees our accounting operations and brings a wealth of expertise from across multiple industries including Distribution, Banking, Medical Devices, and Real Estate. She exemplifies the rigor and our corporate values which always put the clients first. Mimi holds a dual Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Control Management with experience in both GAAP and IFRS. 

    Throughout her career, she has implemented accounting processes that facilitated business flow and efficiency. Prior to joining Longford Management, Mimi lived in California where she diligently led reporting on multimillion-dollar projects for Joimax – a German medical device company. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and traveling. 

    Mimi is currently a CPA candidate. 

  7. Kendra Robinson

    Leading with a smile and integrity

    Kendra brings to Longford over 6 years of office management experience. Kendra enjoys making sure that office operations run smoothly, along with acting as a huge support to the maintenance, property management, and accounting team. Prior to working with Longford Management, Kendra worked in the healthcare-field and within the non-profit sector. Because of her management experience, “can do” attitude, and over the moon people skills, she has become a great addition to the Longford Team. More importantly, Kendra lives by the motto, “She is a dreamer, a doer, a thinker. She sees possibility in everything”, which has shown through her work ethic and proved her to be a great asset here at Longford. 

    Kendra plans on obtaining her Associates of Science in Psychology degree in May 2021 where she will then continue her education at George Mason University to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.  In her spare time, she enjoys immersing herself in her studies, live music, volunteering, indulging in the DMV restaurant scene, and spending time with her family and two adorable rescue pups.
